My Approach
I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a broad range of issues.
My approach to treatment is very personalized, because each client has different needs and goals and a unique personality. Using an integrative theoretical orientation, I draw from existential-humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and psychodynamic theories. I also value humor in psychotherapy.
I provide a caring, supportive environment in which clients feel comfortable and safe. In this environment, we can explore emotional issues and relationships, and gain insight into patterns of behavior and interaction.
We focus on what you want and then work on ways to achieve those goals. I can help you to:
access your own inner strengths
find ways to overcome obstacles
identify and clarify your options
make healthy decisions and choices
learn tools to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, anger
learn communication skills to improve your relationships
I look forward to working with you and helping you to create the life you truly want to live.
